Home Health Aides

Home Health Aides (HHA’s) have been trained to provide assistance for patients who are not able to be completely independent but prefer to stay at home close to their loved ones. Some of these patients may be elderly or suffer from chronic illnesses. HHA’s help patients with personal care, such as bathing and toiletry as well as meal preparation and light housekeeping. They work with other members of the health care team, such as nurses, occupational therapists and physical therapists. They also document all care provided to the patient.
